Our buddy Dave Mercer shares a great tip for pausing a hard swimbait and feeding slack so the bait has a chance to turn back. He's fishing with a Storm Kickin' Stick and puts a whooping on the bass. And he catches and releases the possible World Record Rudd? See for yourself.

That last part was funny. "RUDD magazine". Haha. Great tips. I almost jumped at the screen when he "killed it" on the retrieve.

I love to do this with the Tru-Life swimbaits, they turn on a dime as well!
