The Net effect - New Lures from NetBait at ICAST 2010

Netbait Hardytack Craw

NetBait sort of changed how people looked at craw trailers when they introduced the Paca Craw several years back. They are hoping to do the same with some new shapes for 2011.

The first is the Hardytack Craw designed by Jim Hardy. The craw was designed to mimic a real crawfish. They wanted the crawfish pinchers to raise up when the bait stopped, and they wanted the tails to fold underneath the bait when rigged on a jighead. This way it would look like a real crawfish as you moved it along the bottom.

The other nice aspect is you can tear legs off and make it a punching bait or tear claws off and make it a Carolina-rigging bait. It's got a lot of versatility in one package.

NetBait Kickin' B

The next bait they designed for the new year is the Kickin' B and the Mini Kickin' B. These topwater toads feature ribbed bodies and curl legs as well as a nose flap that appears like it will help keel the bait some and provide an extra flap in the middle as it scurries across the surface.

NetBait Salt Lick

They added a soft stick  bait to the lineup as well called a Salt Lick. The plastic stickbait is 6-inches long and is enfused with salt, scent and pork fat. It seems loaded with salt and gives them a product in that category.

NetBait Dirt Dawg

The last bait in the new lineup is a unique creature bait aimed specifically at shaky head fishing called a Dirt Dawg. However the bait was really designed to be a bulkier spinnerbait or chatterbait trailer. Rigged at the head or backwards with the tails folded back, it makes a great trailer and a great finesse creature. They designed a new jighead to help fold the legs back and give it a lot more action in the water for those that want the legs back.

The feet on the two legs help keep them seperated as you work it on the back of a spinnerbait or chatterbait. It's another unique profile in their product line.
