Costa Booth our favorite from the show

There is no official award for best booth at ICAST, but if there was we'd certainly have given the award to Costa Del Mar. The story of the booth is as cool as the booth itself.

Basically the wood to make this booth is from an old vacated horse barn that is more than 100 years old. The barn was owned by the Carmichael family back in the 1900s. At some point the barn passed out of the family. However, recently the grandaughter of the gentleman that originally owned and built the barn purchased the land and had the barn broken down.
After doing that they found out that the foundation was still rock solid and are planning to build a log cabin on the original foundation that her family created 100 years ago. The barn wood was recycled and used to create Costas booth. The booth was then decorated with antique furniture.
The red bench immediately caught Todd's eye as his grandmother had a bench just like that which his parents now own.

We loved the little pully system with the bucket for bringing refreshements up to the second story of the booth and the vantage point over the show floor was awesome from up stairs.
Kudos to Costa for having some fun with the trade show. Looking forward to happy hour with Costa this afternoon!
