G.Loomis won Overall Best of Show at ICAST 2010 for their new line of G.Loomis NRX rods. Light and sensitive the rods look amazing but the $500 price tag will keep a lot of us at bay.
Sebile has been racking up the awards this year, first at the international EFTEX conference and now for Terminal Tackle at ICAST which was the one category with the most entries for best of show. Their Soft Weight system is revolutionary and has opened up some possibility with rigging and how you can fish plastics, swimbaits and more. Might even be nice for weighting jerkbaits and other not thought of applications like dipping the back hook of a topwater more.
Ardent and Lamiglass teamed up to pick up the best of show award for best combo offering. The new Ardent S2500 and Lamiglass rod were both dressed in the Fishoflauge pattern.
