Strike King has arguably won of the largest cult followings in fishing tackle save maybe Zoom plastics or Rapala hardbaits. The make so many good products along so many lines that it's hard not to be attracted to them as a whole.
This year KVD and the other great prostaffers along with the think tank at Strike King came up with some fun new baits for bass fishing and even a little crappie fishing.

One of our favorites was the new KVD Cranks. They come in 1.5 and 2.5 models and all the great Strike King colors. The baits are made to power fish shallow, deflect and wander but still run true. But the key is the baits are silent. So it's a power fishing shallow-running crankbait that won't overpower the bass.

The new KVD Chunk is a great shape that will compliment the great line of jigs Strike King already offers. It comes in several proven colors and few new colors

The Shim-E-Stick gives Strike King a comparable offering in the soft stickbait category in several proven colors and the coffee scent as well.

The crappie baits were the Slab Hunter series of Crappie Cranks, Crappie Grubs and Tooty Fruity Crappie Tubes. The cranks are made for trolling which is popular in the southeast and some in the midwest for crappie anglers with the tube and grubs filling the other effective techniques for crappie all over the country.

As always they had several new sizes and colors of exisiting product lines that we really liked but one color we were certainly intrigued by was Sexy Blueback Herring. Most folks that fish lakes with blueback herring know the baitfish doesn't generally have a blue back at all. Strike King got this color right and folks around those fisheries will like that.
